Sabigung

Sabigung Palace is the first restored royal palace of great Baekje in the three kingdoms era. Among the total of 14 buildings in an area of 4,492㎡ are Cheonjeongjeon in the middle, Munsajeon in
the east, and Mudeokjeon in the west connected by corridors. Based on the ancient palace architectural
design, the main throne hall was restored. Cheonjeongjeon is  a symbolic hall among the others to serve
as a venue for New Year's rituals, welcoming reception for envoys and other important events. The 19-
meter height and the 337㎡ area make the two-story building magnificent.

Cheonjeongjeon is the main building where kings were engaged in their political and administrative affairs. The first letter Cheon means the heaven or sky to which important national affairs were prayed to seek for solutions. This throne hall is the most important place within the palace to serve for New Year's rituals, welcoming receptions for envoys and other important events.

Donggung is comprised of the main hall and an annex. 
The main hall is named Munsajeon and served as the king's office. The kings were engaged in one of the most crucial places for administrative affairs to serve for the public. The first letter Mun means east. The other hall was an office building for king's servant's and means welcoming the best talents.

Seogung also consists of two halls.
Mudeokjeon is the king's office mainly for military and security affairs, and the other hall Indeokjeon means giraffe symbolizing peace and prosperity.
